Invitation, Menu, Flyer and Business Card Makers
Printed pieces fail on details: a name trimmed off the edge, a date with a typo, a file at the wrong size. The makers in this group ask for the text that goes on the piece, such as names, dates, dishes, prices and contact details, and set it into the design. You download a print PDF with bleed, a 300 DPI image for home printing and an image for sharing by message or on social media.
Every maker keeps text well inside the safe area, so nothing important is lost when a print shop trims the sheet. You still need to proofread: AI text is good, but not perfect, and one wrong digit in a phone number is easy to miss.

Before you print
Bleed is the extra margin of artwork beyond the trim line, so that a small cutting error does not leave a white edge. The print PDFs from these makers include it. If you want to know how bleed, trim and safe area work together, read what bleed is and how to use it. Printers also publish their own templates, so check yours before you order a large run.

Questions
Can I print the files at home?+
Yes. Each maker gives you a JPG sized for home printing. Print it at actual size, 100% scale, on card stock and trim along the edge.
Which file should I send to a print shop?+
Send the print PDF. It has the bleed that print shops ask for and keeps important text inside the safe area.
Can I change the wording after the design is made?+
The text is part of the image, so a change means generating the design again with the new details. Edit the form, not the file.
Are the sizes right for my country?+
The business card and menu makers offer both US and European sizes. Invitations and flyers use US sizes, which a print shop can usually scale to the local standard.
